Spiritual Preparation
We are looking for students who have a serious desire
for God and a heart that hungers for intimacy with
Jesus. We want students who have an intense willingness
to be changed from who they have been to whom God wants
them to be. Every candidate is required to submit a
reference form from two spiritual authorities. For an
individual to be considered for JMC, it must be evident
to spiritual leaders within their home church that the
prospective candidate has indeed accepted Christ into
his/her heart and is conducting his/her life according
to Christian principles.
During the nine months program, no dating is
permitted. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that
each student's stay at the JMC is set-aside for Jesus
and Jesus alone. Young ladies and men are, in essence,
giving Christ nine months of their lives without any
distractions. Our ultimate goal here at JMC is to see
each graduate leave with a wholehearted, intimate
relationship with Jesus! So, for this time, we ask
students to make a promise to themselves, to us, and
most importantly to God, that Christ will be their
focus.
Commitment
JMC is not a conveyer belt that a student steps on and
automatically comes out the other end a new person. The
benefits that students will gain from Master's
Commission are directly proportionate to the level of
commitment that each is willing to give for the entire
nine-month program. So, while here at JMC, students will
not be permitted to seek employment or join another
ministry in the church (other than the ministries they
are placed in through the Master's Commission program).
This will allow complete freedom of the student's time
for involvement in every aspect of ministry provided by
Master's Commission.
Health Insurance
Every student must prove that he/she is fully covered by
health insurance that will be maintained during the
entire term. This is required for acceptance into JMC.
The church is not liable to cover any medical expenses.
Personal waivers will be signed upon entering JMC.
Passport
Every student must have a passport, which is valid
through May 2008. |
